FROM MY Students
“Chris was both unbelievably supportive and engaging: I would recommend him to everyone. Not only is he beyond helpful academically, but he is also genuinely kind, interested, patient, and invested in his students’ success. Chris helped me immensely this year, and he made the entire process enjoyable at the same time.”
Ally | Pre-Calculus & ChemistryMY Philosophy
Success in academics and test preparation is certainly about content knowledge and strategy, but it also has a tremendous amount to do with how well you know (and get along with) your brain. You no doubt have some well-developed skill sets and a few that could use some work. And by the time you’ve made it to high school, you probably have a love-hate relationship with a subject or two.
Understanding how your brain works to store and recall information (and how it responds to stress along the way) is vital for successful adventures in academics and life in general. But gaining that understanding requires patience. You are going to trip, and you are going to make mistakes. But so long as you are driven, honest, and just a tiny bit reflective, you’re going to learn. Sound interesting?

Consultations generally involve 30 – 45 minutes of conversation with prospective students and their parents. They are offered free of charge or pressure. The goal is to provide information and guidance while spending a little time getting to know each other.
Whether or not you end up working with me, I am committed to providing meaningful value and an engaging environment to any student who comes in the door.
